Presentational (Writing)

After going to the restaurant's opening, you decided to write a short critique of the food you had in your blog for your friends who are interested in seeing it. In 10–12 sentences, include:

  • the name of the dish

  • the origin of the dish

  • a description of it (what ingrediants it is composed of, the garnishing, the taste, etc)

  • what happened during the restaurant opening (use the passé composé)

  • your opinions about the quality of the restaurant

  • recommendations for your friends (who should go and try this restaurant's food; who would like it?)

Presentational (Speaking)

It is saturday morning and it is your grocery shopping day. Whiles making your shopping list, you discover that one of your friends is also going shopping, but he/she does have his or her list ready. Give him/her some advice about what he/she may need and from where (la cremerie, la boucherie, la boulangerie etc). In 2-3 minutes, include:

  • a greeting

  • why you go shopping on saturdays

  • what is on your list (things you want vrs things you need)

  • what things should he/she should buy and from where

  • a conclusion

Be sure to include the conditional tense when giving recommendations and advice about what is important for him/her to get.
